What is this? This is a website dedicated to the companies and businesses that are doing their best to keep the staff they have! Check them out on The Good Guys page and while you're at it, why not heed their sage advice on the 'How They Did It' page. We're hearing a lot about companies that are laying off staff. But what about all the companies who are finding creative ways to make the savings they need in these trying financial times without getting rid of people? This site gives you a chance to gloat that your business has not fallen victim to short-sightedness, that even through bad times you value your staff enough to keep them for when times are good. So if you want to tell your story, let me know and I'll happily interview you and help your business be seen! It's tough out there, but pat yourself on the back if you have the foresight to hold onto staff. Don't be shy - shout it to the hilltops... WE HAVEN'T LAID ANYONE OFF! How do I know if my business qualifies? It's simple, if you haven't laid anyone off in the last year (12 months) you qualify! How soon will my banner be up? Your banner should be up within 24 hours. How long will the site be online? Let's hope for everybody's sake this credit crunch/recession/worst time in thirty years doesn't last too much longer. (If you've lost your job recently you'll agree!) Some serious money guys reckon this recession will be done and dusted by the end of the year, but I will keep this site up and running until at least April 2011. What happens if I make someone redundant after this date and want to come off the website? Just email me and I will take you off. There seem to be a lot of New Zealand companies on the Good Guys page? Is this site a 'Down Under' thing? Definitely not, I (Justin Brown the creator) happen to be living in New Zealand, but this recession is global. We need to find Good Guys everywhere! Cool, so how do I join? I'm glad you asked! The first step would be to click the tab at the top of this page marked 'How do I join?' See you on that page in a second...
